Membership & Technology Manager

The Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC) is the strongest and broadest network of theatre practitioners in the United States. We provide extensive resources and year-round opportunities for our constituents. Our services, publications, and products contribute significantly to the careers of emerging artists, seasoned professionals, and academicians.

SETC seeks a Membership & Technology Manager responsible for managing and continued development of the organization’s complex database and orchestrating year-round event registrations from data input to badge production including serving as Registration Manager for an annual Convention of 5,000 attendees.  Additional duties include coordinate/participate in database entry, record merging, report generation, and annual database clean-up; provide survey analysis, debrief, and graphics;  liaison with database developer and IT support vendors; research, advise, manage, implement, and trouble shoot new and existing IT systems including hardware and software; train staff on the use of the database and software; oversee seasonal data assistants; assemble and coordinate large pool of volunteers for Convention; develop beneficial membership programs; assist members with database/log-in issues; and other duties as arise.

No arts experience is necessary, but ideal candidate must collaborate/gel with a dedicated, congenial staff and provide excellent customer service to SETC’s Membership.
