Sacramento Theatre Company’s Internship Program

Position: Intern for the 2019-2020 Season – main focus in Scenic Carpentry

Reports to: Intern Coordinator

Position Overview: Main areas of focus will be in Scenic Carpentry, as well as 1-2 other departments that will be determined based on your resume, your interests, and your interview with our Executive Producing Director and School of the Arts Director. During this internship you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of our departments, from working with our scene shop, serving as a technical assistant for both our educational and professional productions, and helping the office administration staff. This program will begin in Fall 2019 and run through May 24th, 2020. During this time STC may be able to provide furnished housing for this internship. All interns will receive a $25 per diem for each day you are scheduled, to help offset any additional living expenses (usually 6 days per week for a total of $150/wk). Please know that this program is a full time internship.

Requirements: – Minimum B.A. college degree – Ability to lift up to 50 lbs – Personal vehicle
