Overview

GREENVILLE LITTLE THEATRE in Greenville, SC invites qualified applicants to submit applications to become its next Producing Artistic Director.  The PAD will be responsible for play selection, casting, oversight of the staff of 13 full-time and 2 part-time employees, and hiring guest artists.  The PAD will also be the face of the theatre in the community and work closely with the Board of Directors to raise funds, increase awareness, and work toward achieving the theatre’s long range vision and goals.  The PAD will also need to be a knowledgeable theatre artist and a skilled director, directing 3 or more productions a year. The theatre is looking to hire a visionary artist beginning with the 2020–2021 season and would like to have 4 or 5 candidates each direct one production in the 2019-2020 season as part of the selection process.

Candidates must have strong artistic, organization, and communication skills.  MFA is a plus, but not required. Must have extensive professional experience.
