Master’s Degree in Theater or related field required.
One (1) year of experience in box office management or theater/performing arts center management required.
Experience with internet and online ticket and event data entry required.
Teaching experience in a college setting preferred.

Oversees booking, planning, implementing of safety requirements, and evaluating programming for the Wallace Hall Fine Arts Center, under the supervision of the Division Chair of Fine Arts.
Trains lighting and sound technicians to operate technical theatrical equipment.
Provides recommendations for technical theatrical equipment updates and maintenance.
Oversees the awarding of Theater scholarships and advises Theater students.
Collaborates with Characters Entertainment in Theatrical Productions that include Gadsden State students.
Oversees stage management of events.
Maintains appropriate records for the Fine Arts Center.
Assists in the preparation of purchase order requests.
Responsible for event data entry and online box office management.
Publicizes auditorium availability for College and community events.
Organizes and maintains office and theater equipment as required.
Assists with public relations pertaining to Wallace Hall Fine Arts Center, including print, website, and social media.
Assists with training, supervision, scheduling, and evaluation of part-time employees, including technicians, box office operators, security officers, housekeeping, and patron service assistants.
Collaborates with Music and Theater programs for special performances.
Coordinates school visits for Theatrical and Musical performances.
Coordinates and supervises performances of guest artists and/or touring shows.
Provides superior customer service to all internal and external clients.
Networks with local industry, local communities, educational and relevant organizations, and the public.
Complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act in assisting patrons with disabilities.
Assists with meetings as appropriate.
Works to build capacity to strategically grow the program.
Instructs two Theater courses per semester (Fall, Spring, and Summer).
Teaches in a wide variety of settings and time frames to include day, evening, and weekend.
Manages courses through systematic use of syllabi and accurate reports of students’ class performance, attendance, and grades.
Assists in curriculum development and review/selection of instructional materials.
Attends divisional and full-faculty meetings, as well as training sessions and graduations.
Engages in assessment of student learning outcomes and program assessment.
Pursues continued professional development.
Serves on College committees as assigned.
Complies with all policies of the Alabama Community College System and the College.
Performs related work as assigned.
