Duties include maintaining and operating in-house lighting, audio and fly systems and equipment; and assisting during set up, operation and breakdown of various productions. Duties may also include coordinating volunteers and clients in technical activities related to stage lighting and sound. Duties will require computer proficiency, a high level of self-motivation and superior organizational skills; and typically will require working at heights of up to 80’ and lifting up to 75 pounds. A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of theater production experience are required. Must have thorough knowledge of electrical, electronic and rigging standards and practices. Strong carpentry skills preferred. ETCP theatrical rigger or entertainment electrician certification beneficial. Work schedule will vary, based on event schedules. Must be available to work as needed. Starting pay is 19.45 per hour.
