The historic nonprofit Carolina Theatre of Durham is seeking an experienced Box Office Manager. This position manages the daily operations of the Carolina Theatre box office. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in TicketMaster ticketing (including Archtics and Host), customer service, financial reporting, and staff management. Position reports to the Director of Operations. Experience with nonprofit organizations and working with development offices is a plus. This critical management position requires experience in building shows and maintaining records inside a TicketMaster system; exceptional organizational and customer-service skills and the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure while interfacing with both staff and guests.

The Carolina Theatre of Durham, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which manages the City-owned historic Carolina Theatre complex including the 1,000-seat historic Fletcher Hall and two cinemas which screen independent film, as well as festivals and retrospectives, 365 days per year. The organization presents more than 50 Star Series performances per year in Fletcher Hall and provides more than 35 educational performances for more than 15,000 schoolchildren from 12 counties in our Arts Discovery series.
