Acting Out seeks a full- time Performing Arts Teacher.
Who we are-
For the past 15 years, Acting Out! has provided professional level acting and musical theatre training to children in the South Brooklyn community. This September, we proudly start offering our extensive performing arts curriculum to students kindergarten to college at our new location in Westfield, NJ.
Our courses include all levels of acting, musical theatre, improvisation, film/television, as well as private lessons for singing, piano, and audition preparation. The Acting Out! team of instructors is led by Roberta Loew, John Isgro and Keith Grumet, all three are highly-educated and experienced professionals with over 20 years in the acting industry. All of Acting Out!’s instructors are working actors and musicians, who have worked on Broadway and off, in regional theatres, and have been featured in television, radio, and/or film.
Having both the practical know-how and an insightful, educational approach, our instructors bring their collective experience to our ego-free classrooms. Our students benefit from our instructors’ nurturing yet practical method that focuses both on individual growth and creating supportive ensembles. Most importantly, our instructors dedicate themselves to providing our students with an environment in which they feel safe in expressing the full range of emotions required in developing their performing arts skills.
At Acting Out! we believe in creating a family-friendly atmosphere where we support each others artistic, personal and professional goals.
